most modern fillers you can ask for a data sheet! its the law to have those as it covers everything to do with the product most now adhere and can go straight to metal….less is more so good straight as you can metalwork and it will last a very long time…..nothing lasts forever not even metal!
I heard you mention a BRIDGEPORT , contact DUBLIN MOB in San Diego, I know they had one , and they have not been doing much lately. MLNR JIMMY53 MIDNIGHT RAMBLERZ MC
Question: what was your favourite build you’ve done and what was your worst one that you ended up regretting. P.s you and gene are my idols and got me into fabrication.
That’s the best way filler is porous and will draw moisture in and then the panel will rust and filler will fall off always Seal it plus as it cures it warms up and draws moisture and will rust

my education says filler direct to bare metal, my experience says sealer then filler.

Always over primer because metal absorbs moisture and you don’t want that under your filler, it’ll always pop off and crack
What about using etch primer on bare metal before filler?
