Seeing that you had a broken engine mount and other issues, it’s probably just as well that you yanked out the engine anyway. Besides now, with the engine out, not only will it be easier to work on the firewall and frame, as well as cleaning and painting everything that needs to be cleaned and painted, it will also be a lot easier to work on the engine, possibly paint it, and you can now more easily access parts of the engine that are usually obstructed by the frame, exhaust system, firewall, and fenders. You had also mentioned possibly putting a different engine in it in the future. If you’re eventually going to do an engine swapped in the distant future, I would recommend a Dodge 318 V8 with an original gear reduction starter from the 1960s, 70s, or 80s and modified with a four barrel carburetor. Additionally, a Vintage Air heat, and AC system might be a good addition to this car unless the remaining stuff from the Caprice still works. I’m enjoying watching this build and seeing it when it’s all finished. Also, what do you plan on doing with the original chassis, engine, and transmission from the Plymouth? Happy New Year and may 2025 be a great year!
Every problem you face you find a solution thats why i love that my kids enjoy this channel so much.In life you will have problems just keep the can do attitude and anything can be accomplished!!Great video as always
To me you better rethink those trans mounts.
That don’t seam it will hold up to back and forth motion of the granny going in and out of gears.
But maybe that’s just me…lol
Love the build thanks for sharing with us.

What a great video bro, finally Christine is going to revive, by the way, what will happen to the original Plymouth engine?
Lots of non essential parts on that engine. Like how the firewall is coming together. Still one of my favorite albums is Waiting for Columbus
Sell some merch..hats or shirts!! Amazing on this one…car was not worth it in IMHO but proud of your craft!!
